Which package should I book for a car in Santa Monica?
For upkeep on a car that is already in good shape, Express Detail from $115 is enough. If the problem is salt that has already bonded to the paint, Express Detail will not touch it. That needs Full Lab from $349, which includes the clay-bar decontamination and the sealing wax that follows it, leaving a hydrophobic finish that lasts about three months. You can also add Clay Bar and Wax Protection from $95 to any lower package instead of moving up a tier.
What if the paint already has marks, or I want protection that lasts?
Two different things. For lasting protection we install Ceramic Coating — 3 to 5 Years from $825, which runs three to five years, and there are separate ceramic options for glass and for wheels. For marks already in the clear coat, such as swirls from dry wiping, One-Step Polish at $275 handles lighter marks and Multi-Step Correction from $695 handles paint that needs more. We look at the car first and tell you honestly which one it needs, and whether the marks will come out at all, before anything starts.
How much does salt actually affect a car in Santa Monica?
Enough that it shows on hardware before paint. Wheels, door jambs, badges and trim take it first because they hold moisture. On a car within a few blocks of the water we recommend a decontamination and sealant every three months rather than waiting for it to be visible.
Can you work in the subterranean garages downtown?
Yes, that is most of our Santa Monica work. We need the clearance height and building access arranged before the appointment. Tell us the building when you book and we will confirm we fit.
What about street cleaning and permit parking?
Tell us the block and we will schedule around the cleaning day. On permit streets we normally work in a driveway or a guest spot instead, since a car cannot sit at the curb for the length of a full detail.
Do you need water or power at my location?
No. Our units are 100% self-contained with pressurized water tanks and onboard generators. We need nothing from your property — just access to your vehicle.
How long does a service take?
